Following the conclusion of the 12-country TPP negotiations in late 2015, the ratification process has begun. The TPP is an agreement of unprecedented depth and breadth. This seminar examines practical and conceptual implications of the TPP for Australian businesses and their legal advisers in fields such as agriculture, intellectual property, services, investment, and dispute settlement. Some of the concerns that have been raised about the TPP, including issues such as public health and the secrecy of the treaty making process, will also be discussed.
