Dear Members and Subscribers,

The Australian Branch of the International Law Association has been approached by a number of members in Western Australia who are interested in launching a State-based Chapter there. As many of you will be aware, State-based Chapters typically host seminars and other events of interest to international lawyers and publish newsletters. The Victorian Chapter also hosts an annual Public International Law Moot Competition.

The members interested in establishing a Chapter in Western Australia have asked the Australian Branch to put out a call for expressions of interest, both for people who are interested in participating in the organisation and management of the West Australian Chapter, and for those who would be interested in being members of the Chapter (Chapter membership is free for existing ILA members).

If you would be interested in being a member of, or assisting in the management of, the West Australian Chapter, please contact me at secretary@ila.org.au and I will pass your details on.

Kind regards,

Patrick Wall
Secretary
International Law Association (Australian Branch)
