Gilbert + Tobin and the Australian Branch of the
International Law Association
are pleased to bring together Professor Donald Rothwell of the ANU College of Law, Christopher Flynn, Partner at Gilbert + Tobin and Barrister Dr Christopher Ward to discuss issues that arise when representing Australians accused of offences committed overseas, including journalist Peter Greste and Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran.
The Panel will discuss matters including the appropriate legal strategies, co-ordination with government and international law issues including trends in the application of the death penalty for drug trafficking crimes.
