The Victorian Chapter of the International Law Association – Australian Branch hosted a special dinner in honour of H.E. Hilary Charlesworth, Judge of the International Court of Justice, co-hosted by the Institute for International Law and the Humanities, the Melbourne Journal of International Law and Melbourne Law School last week.

The evening included reflections by Judge Charlesworth about her experience as a Judge at the ICJ, her previous academic work, as well as broader discussion about international law. The conversation with Judge Charlesworth was led by the Victorian Chapter’s President, Rose Cameron, Professor of International Law Margaret Young and Sarah Castles.

We thank Judge Charlesworth, our co-hosts and all attendees for a wonderful evening.
